Description

The Tedee door sensor detects whether the door is open or closed and shows its status in real time in the Tedee app, alongside the current state of the smart lock. The device consists of two parts, a sensor and a magnet, which are fitted on the inside of the door leaf and the door frame.

By measuring the distance between the sensor and the magnet, the device determines the door position precisely, which prevents auto-locking when the door has been left open. It can also send an alert when the door stays open for a longer time and records every opening and closing in the activity history. Remote operation requires integration with a Tedee Bridge connected to Wi-Fi.

Installation is quick and easy, with no damage to surfaces, thanks to pre-applied adhesive strips. It is powered by a CR2032 battery that lasts up to two years without maintenance.
